Bridgewater votes to study withdrawal from school district


BRIDGEWATER – The town overwhelmingly voted for a school district study to investigate the viability of the town withdrawing from the Newfound Area School District.

By a vote of 158 to 31, residents approved Article 5, which calls for the study in conjunction with the town of Hebron.

By a vote of 103-91, residents approved the proposed $1.38 million operating budget.
