Sullivan voters amend planning ordinance

SULLIVAN -- Twenty-three 23 percent of registered voters, or 97 people cast ballots for eight candidates who ran unopposed.
Laura Merrifield was elected to the Board of Selectmen, Chris Pratt will serve as town moderator and Mary Hull will continue as town clerk.
John Prior and Risa Keene were elected to serve on the school board.
Residents also voted 70 to 20 to approve a warrant article that would allow seasonal dwellings to be converted to permanent housing provided they meet state and local regulations.
Articles limiting the duration of building permits to one year and limiting building permits to property owners also passed by margins of 70 or more votes.
