Langdon voters approve school budget

LANGDON -- One hundred twenty-five residents went to the polls and voted 108 to 14 to approve the $28,494,854 budget for the Fall Mountain Regional School District Tuesday.
Voters agreed to spend $352,000 to install fire protection for the Fall Mountain Regional High School, 101 to 19, and voted 95 to 28 to spend $30,000.00 to remodel the main floor and make fire safety improvements at the Sarah Porter School.
Lucien Beam received 110 votes in an unopposed selectman race. Bud Ross ran unopposed for a seat on the board and received 117 votes.
Town Clerk Angela Esslinger ran unopposed and received 121 votes and Jeffery Holmes received 123 votes in an uncontested race for town moderator.
