LONDONDERRY -- Incumbent Town Councilors Tom Freda and Joe Green won reelection Tuesday.
Green led the way with 1,037 votes, followed by Freda with 832. Challengers John Robinson and Chris Melcher garnered 822 and 732 votes respectively.
Town Article 4, the proposed $17,084,566 operating budget, overwhelmingly passed, with 1,321 voters voting yes and 628 voting against.
Also passed by voters was Town Article 9, a one-year, $102,473 contract with police department employees. The item passed with 1,171 votes and 780 voted against.
Article 12, a petition asking voters to transfer the responsibilities of the Town Forest from the conservation commission to Town Manager Kevin Smith failed, with 1,026 voting no and 858 voting yes.
Running for the two open School Board seats were Daniel Lekas, George Tsekrekas and incumbent Nancy Hendricks.
Hendricks and Lekas won with 1,129 and 960 votes respectively.
School Article 2, a $4 million bond for district-wide renovations and construction was passed with 1,235 votes and 736 against.
A record 1,764 voters favored School Article 3, the district's $66,240,583 operating budget. Only 171 citizens voted against it.
Also overwhelmingly passed was School Article 5, a $113,067, two-year contract with support staff: with 1,113 in favor and 843 against it.
