Zoning amendment passes in Loudon
LOUDON – No candidates for town office was challenged Tuesday, so all were elected or reelected.
A zoning amendment dealing with the definition of a contiguous buildable area passed.
With 207 votes, Robert P. Krieger was reelected to the Board of Selectmen.
The only question on the ballot asked voters to adopt Amendment 2014-1, which was proposed and recommended by the planning board for the Loudon Zoning Ordinance. The amendment makes the phrase "Contiguous Buildable Area" consistent throughout the zoning ordinance.
The amendment passed, 158-59.
Town officials said there were 229 ballots cast.
