Due to snow forecast, Farmington decides to wait a week to decide on town issues

FARMINGTON – Due to the incoming snowstorm, officials pushed back rescheduled the annual Town Meeting from Wednesday to March 20 at 7 p.m.

The change was posted on the town's website and a flier was handed out when residents stopped by the polls Tuesday.

While the town can change the date of the meeting up to two hours before it begins, officials felt it was better to get the word out to as soon as possible, according to Town Clerk Kathy Seaver.
