Kensington voters reject municipal building project proposal

KENSINGTON – Voters rejected a $1.2 million proposal for the construction of a new police/emergency management/town office building by a vote of 276-368 during Tuesday’s elections.

It was the only warrant article on the six-page ballot not to pass.

Norman DeBoisbriand earned a seat on the board of selectmen earning 420 votes. Renee E. Rosencrantz received 174 votes.
