Francestown Garden Club talk about trees March 25
FRANCESTOWN — Best Shrubs & Trees for N.H. will be the themes at the Francestown Garden Club on March 25.
Tower Hill Botanic Garden’s Director of Horticulture Joann Vieira will be featured at the club’s first meeting of the year.

Italian club offers talk on mask-making
GILFORD — The New Hampshire Lakes Region Italian Cultural Club will bring an interesting aspect of Italian culture to the area on Friday, March 28.
The club has obtained a professional from Behind the Mask Studio in Massachusetts who will present a demonstration on mask-making as it is done in Venice each year for Carnevale.
It will be at 6 p.m. at Pheasant Ridge Country Club and costs $30 with dinner catered by Contigiani’s. Reservation only. Call Alice Contardo at 527-0551.
Hollis club plans yard sale March 29
HOLLIS — The Hollis Woman’s Club will hold its Spring Yard Sale at the Lawrence Barn on Depot Road in Hollis on Saturday, March 29 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Spaces may be reserved for $20, a space and table for $25. White Mountain Parliamentarians meet
CONCORD — The White Mountain Unit of the National Association of Parliamentarians will hold its monthly meeting on March 20 at 9 a.m. in the conference room of the American Legion Post 21, 7 Perley St., Concord. Unit President Augie Stratoti will moderate a discussion on dealing with unusual events or motions at meetings.
Members are requested to bring topics for discussion that they have encountered at meetings.
