NASHUA — Mark Constantino and Chip Nadeau of My Cloud came to the 2014 TD Bank Community and Small Business Expo in Nashua on Wednesday night to explain their new business, which provides affordable, pay-as-you-go technical support for computer networks, routers, printers and other electronic devices.

For freelancers who work online and small businesses and nonprofits that don’t have IT departments or money or time to spare on tech specialists from big computer stores, the company provides an alternative.

At My Cloud, tech specialists use software that lets them access a user’s computer or device through the Internet. Once they are connected, technicians can diagnose and fix the problem.

“About 80 to 90 percent of most problems can be solved remotely,” said Constantino, who added that a lot of businesses and organizations weren’t aware that option existed.

The expo was the company’s first big event and its first chance to tell other small businesses and community groups that tech support can be a lot easier and cheaper than they might think. “That’s why we came,” Nadeau said. “We want people to know that we can break it down and make tech support easy, accessible and affordable for everyone.”
