‘None of the above’ choice for voters rejected by House

CONCORD — The House, as expected, killed legislation Wednesday that would have allowed voters to select “none of the above” in upcoming elections.

The House Election Law Committee had recommended that the bill be killed on a 16-0 vote.

Opponents of the bill pointed out that voters currently have the option of leaving a allot blank or by writing in name other than those on the ballot.
