Newmarket golf course sold for $1.6M


NEWMARKET — Rockingham Golf Course LLC has purchased the Rockingham Country Club golf course at 200 Exeter Road in Newmarket for $1.6 million, according to CBRE Portsmouth.

The new owner plans to continue the operation of the golf course and build a single-family residential development on the undeveloped land portion of the property.

Kent White of CBRE Portsmouth represented the sellers in the transaction.
