Krieger promoted at NH Motor Speedway
LOUDON — Whitney Krieger has been promoted to senior account executive at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Krieger will manage account activation and branding for more than 60 accounts, ranging from employee ticket promotions to major race sponsorships.
Krieger, 26, joined the speedway during the summer of 2009, working her way up from a suite host to sales intern to group ticket sales by the spring of 2010. She was promoted to account executive with the corporate sales team in the winter of 2011.
As account executive, Krieger was named the Account Executive of the Year for 2012, landing two of the speedway's largest accounts in F.W. Webb and Bond Auto Parts.
Ellingson joins advisory board of Boston Therapeutics
MANCHESTER — Boston Therapeutics Inc., which develops drugs that address diabetes using complex carbohydrate chemistry, has appointed Larry K. Ellingson as chairman of its Scientific Advisory Board.
A former chairman of the board of the American Diabetes Association, Ellingson has more than four decades of experience in drug development with a strong emphasis on diabetes and related diseases. Ellingson is the principal of Global Diabetes Consulting, which works with several companies as well as the North Dakota State University College of Pharmacy. He was executive director of diabetes care at Eli Lilly & Co.
Keating joins First Colebrook Bank
AMHERST — Karen A. Keating has joined First Colebrook Bank as the AVP/business development officer.
Keating, who joins the bank team with more than 20 years of professional banking experience, studied at the New England College of Finance and specializes in financial management and human resources.
Keating is chairman of the Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Milford Rotary Club, a board member of the Milford Improvement Team, a volunteer of the Special Olympics, a board member of Girls at Work Inc., and a member of the Hometown Business Alliance.
TD Bank promotes Smith to regional sales manager
PORTSMOUTH — TD Bank has promoted Jonathan W. Smith to vice president, regional sales manager of the SBA Lending Division. Based in Portsmouth, he will manage TD Bank's SBA team responsible for all lending outside the bank's footprint as well as its SBA franchise programs nationwide.
Smith has 10 years of banking and lending experience. He joined TD Bank in 2011 as a senior business development officer for Maine and New Hampshire. Prior to joining TD Bank, he served as a regional account manager at CIT Small Business Lending for Northern New England and the director of business development at Priority Capital in Melrose, Mass.
A resident of Portsmouth, Smith is a 2002 graduate of Suffolk University in Boston.
