Manchester police describe man who robbed bank


Manchester police said the man who robbed the Bank of America branch at 728 Massabesic St. about 9:30 Monday morning is believed to be about 6 feet tall, of medium build and, possibly, Hispanic.

The robber wore a black ski mask, a black and white plaid snowboarding-style jacket and tan gloves. He pointed a handgun at one teller, demanded cash and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

Anyone recognizing the jacket and/or man in the photo is asked to call the detective division at 668-8711. Anonymous tips can be made by calling Manchester Crimeline at 624-4040, or online at www.manchestercrimeline.org.
