MANCHESTER — Citizens Bank is planning to move some of its corporate personnel from offices in the branch building at 875 Elm St., across the street to new suites in the City Hall Plaza tower at 900 Elm St.
The consumer and branch operations will remain at their current location, which previously housed Amoskeag Bank, according to Lauren DiGeronimo, vice president for media relations at RBS Citizens Financial Group, headquartered in Providence, R.I.
"We are moving our offices to 900 Elm Street to help improve space efficiency and workflow," she said. "The Citizens Bank branch will remain in its current location at 875 Elm Street."
The move, scheduled for June, affects administrative and support staff who work out of the corporate office for New Hampshire operations.
"Moving to the new location enables us to do some things we couldn't do at the current space," DiGeronimo said.
Citizens operates a 12-state branch network under the Citizens Bank brand in Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont, and the Charter One brand in Illinois, Michigan and Ohio, with a corporate office in each state.
