Entertainer Tony Pace to perform at Londonderry Rotary fundraiser

LONDONDERRY — Next month’s Rotary Club Spring Fling event promises great laughs for a number of worthy causes.

On April 18, the Londonderry Rotary Club will host its annual “Spring Fling” event, featuring a performance by Las Vegas entertainer Tony Pace.

The show at the Yard Restaurant will begin at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $40 per person, with inner circle seats near the main stage being sold for $50 each.

Pace, a former Londonderry resident, incorporates music and comedy into his live show. The program is appropriate for audiences of all ages.

A live auction, raffles and food will complete the evening’s festivities.

The local Rotary has been hosting comedy events for the past eight years as a fundraiser for several local charities as well as Rotary Club International, according to club spokesman Reed Clark.

The Londonderry Rotary Club sponsors several college scholarships to deserving local high school graduates. The club also gives to local causes such as the Liberty House, a shelter for homeless veterans, and Sonshine Soup Kitchen, a Derry-based charity that provides meals to homeless local families.

For more information or to purchase tickets, contact Claudia Charbonneau at 425-4532 or Deb Waitt at 490-6133.
