Billy's captures Amoskeag Cup in Manchester 40+ Hockey League

Lightning struck twice for Billy's Sports Bar & Grill.

Down 3-2 in the final minute of regulation against Leclerc State Farm Insurance in the Manchester Over-40 Hockey League title game, Billy's pulled its goalie and it paid off when John Cail scored an unassisted goal with 30.5 seconds to play.

Cail then scored 42 seconds into overtime to complete the comeback and give Billy's its 4-3 win and ownership of the Amoskeag Cup.

The goal was the third of the contest for Cail. Bruce Courtney also scored for the champs.

Leclerc's goals came from Gerry Scaccia, Tony Cullen and Ken Proulx.

Scott Greer made 23 saves for Billy's.

Dave Anstey stopped 25 shots for Leclerc.
