Salem school officials discuss new storage garage
During the budget discussions for the 2014-15 school budget, Superintendent Michael Delahanty proposed a new $199,850 maintenance garage to store much of the equipment and supplies related to past and present facility renovations in the district.
During budget negotiations in the winter, the town Budget Committee cut the money for the new maintenance facility from the school budget.
“I’m going to recommend trying to pay for it in this budget,” said Delahanty.
Carney said he would like to see the discussion on paying for the storage facility placed on the agenda for April.
