Greater Derry-Londonderry Chamber of Commerce to host talk on growth in Southern NH
To help achieve these goals, the chamber has invited approximately 30 area business owners, civic leaders and community members to attend a roundtable breakfast. The event is scheduled to run from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Friday, April 11, at the Derry Municipal Center, said Stacey Bruzzese, the chamber’s executive director.
The state has experienced economic stagnation in recent years, however, as growth has slowed.“It’s been an obvious trend for the last 10 years,” Bruzzese said, adding “we haven’t kept pace with the other New England states in being more business friendly. Our infrastructure hasn’t progressed as other states infrastructures have.”
In the meeting, the chamber plans to use information from a statewide economic development plan recently published by the New Hampshire Business & Industry Association of New Hampshire, she said.
