Two men arrested for Lebanon burglary

LEBANON - Two men were arrested by Lebanon police Monday afternoon after an alert resident on Dana Street saw two men ringing a neighbor's doorbell, then walking around to the back of the house when no one answered the door.
Those men were trying to rob the home, according to police, who arrested Thomas C. Cady, 23, of Plainfield, and Benjamin Kendall, 24, of Vershire, Vt., and charged them with attempt to commit burglary.
Both men are being held at the Grafton County House of Corrections for lack of $10,000 cash bail and will be arraigned in 2nd Circuit Court, Lebanon District Division Tuesday.
Lebanon police are asking anyone who may have seen anything in the area Monday afternoon or who had an encounter with two males  requesting help with a disabled vehicle contact the Lebanon Police Department at 448-1212.
