LEBANON — Two men were arrested for attempted burglary of a Dana Street home Monday.
Thomas C. Cady, 23, of Plainfield, and Benjamin Kendall, 24, of Vershire, Vt., have been charged with of attempt to commit burglary.
Police responded to the Dana Street home at 2:45 p.m. Monday after receiving a report of two suspicious men.
"It was reported that they rang the front doorbell and when there was no answer they went to the back door and entered a mudroom," Lebanon police said in a press release Monday.
Cady and Kendall were found leaving the area, police said.
The pair were being held at the Grafton County House jail for lack of $10,000 cash bail.
They are set to be arraigned at the 2nd Circuit Lebanon District Court today.

According to Norwich, Vt., Police Chief Douglas A. Robinson, Kendall had been free on conditions stemming from burglaries in Norwich.
