RAYMOND — Police are looking for a man who watched and tried to lure a pair of 14-year-old girls outside of a local restaurant on Tuesday.

Police said they were called to GMS Pizza at 6:18 p.m. in reference to suspicious man. The girls’ mother said her daughters were at the pizzeria when they encountered a suspicious-acting man.

The man was leaving the restaurant when the girls arrived. Once the girls were inside the restaurant, the man went back in and said “hi” to one of them, police said. He then stood in the corner next to the restrooms and stared at the girls, police said. After a period of time, the man exited the restaurant and watched the girls through a window. Police said while the man was outside he tried to lure the girls outside.

The man is described as approximately 5’7”, scruffy facial hair and a possible goatee.

He was wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt with khaki pants.

He may possibly be driving a small black pickup truck unknown make or model, police said.

Anyone who can identify this person or may have had a similar encounter is being asked to call the Raymond Police Department at 895-4747.
