Rock Church presents Easter cantata

Rock Church Music Ministry, a choir of 70 voices, will present an Easter cantata composed of new and traditional worship music on Palm Sunday and Good Friday.

The program celebrates the Easter message “God’s Not Dead,” emphasizing the hope of eternal life in Christ, organizers said. The choir is under the direction of Beth Soucise, who brings more than 27 years of musical experience and passion for the Gospel through music.

The Music Ministry is offering two performances, the first on Palm Sunday, April 13, at 4 p.m. at St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church in Sandown. The second performance with be held on Good Friday, April 18, at 7 p.m. at the Rockingham Church, located at 90 Newton Road (Route 108) in Plaistow. Admission is free at both performances.
