Longtime Exeter Hospital executive Glenn Klink has been named executive director for Minuteman Health in New Hampshire.

“Glenn brings a high level of health care knowledge and deep experience in the New Hampshire market to the position, and we’re very pleased to have him aboard,” said Minuteman CEO Tom Policelli.

Klink has 25 years of health insurance experience, including eight years of managed care experience for Prudential and Aetna.

From 1994 to 2013, Klink worked at Exeter Health Resources, the holding company for Exeter Hospital. As a member of senior management, he helped set corporate strategy and was responsible for health insurance contracting, government affairs and new business development.

He has served on various state coalitions, committees, task forces and local boards, and is a certified Professional for Healthcare Management (PAHM).

Klink, who holds a B.A. from Rutgers University and an MBA from the University of New Hampshire, lives in Exeter with his wife and two children.

Minuteman Health is a new member-governed, nonprofit health maintenance organization (HMO) currently selling insurance in Massachusetts. The company recently received its license to start selling in New Hampshire in 2015.
