Laconia man charged following knife fight


LACONIA - A local man was arrested Sunday and charged with second-degree assault in connection with a reported knife fight.

 

Police said they were called to 210 Endicott St. North Sunday afternoon to investigate a report of a fight in which a victim's hand was cut. Police said  the victim declined medical treatment.

 

Police arrested Trevor Bond, 30, of Laconia on charges of criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, second-degree assault and criminal mischief. Bond was refused the services of a bail commissioner and was held overnight at the Belknap County Jail until his scheduled arraignment on Monday.

 

The incident is under investigation, and anyone with information is asked to contact Laconia police at 524-5252 or the Greater Laconia Crime line at 524-1717.
