Crime Victim Rights Week to be marked Tuesday in Concord

CONCORD – Memorial quilts commemorating the lives of 19 homicide victims from New Hampshire as well as a display marking "10 Years of New Hampshire Homicides" will mark National Crime Victims Week in New Hampshire Tuesday.

Gov. Maggie Hassan and Attorney General Joseph Foster will join crime victims and professionals in unveiling The Clothesline Project, sponsored by the AmeriCorps Victim Assistance Program, which will be unveiled either on the State House lawn or nearby in the basement of St. Paul's Church, Park Street, Concord, depending on the weather, Tuesday at 11 a.m.

The Clothesline Project highlights the pain and healing experienced by survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

A memorial service is Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in St. Paul's Church to pay tribute to all those who have died and those who have been affected by violent crime.
