Two arrested, $16,000 in drugs seized in Canaan

CANAAN -- Two men were arrested Sunday after police recovered $16,400 worth of drugs at a Maple Road residence.
Chalres A. Neily, 31, is charged with
possession of cocaine, hydrocodone, marijuana, anabolic steroids and suboxone,
Gerion D. Silva, 39, of Danbury was arrested on charges of possessing heroin, cocaine, marijuana and Oxycontin.
Investigators obtained a warrant to search the 52 Maple Road residence, recovering
44 grams of heroin with a street value of $11,000; 13.5 grams of cocaine worth $1,700;
5.8 ounces of marijuana valued at $1,450; Oxycontin tablets worth $2,250 and Suboxone.
Police also recovered firearms, including semi-automatic rifles, drug packaging material including razor blades, baggies and scales, and marijuana growing equipment
Neily and Silva were held at the Grafton County jail on $10,000 cash only bail. They were arraigned in 2nd Circuit Court, Lebanon District Division, on Monday where bail was continued. Additional charges are pending, police said.
New Hampshire State Police assisted Canaan officers in the investigation.
