Power restored to Hooksett and Candia

HOOKSETT – Power has been restored to nearly 1,300 Public Service of New Hampshire customers who were without electricity early Monday afternoon.

Hooksett Police, shortly after noon, responded to downed power lines in the southeast corner of town. According to a PSNH outage map, 297 Hooksett households and another 984 in Candia were without power at one point.
 
Electricity was reportedly restored before 2 p.m.

HOOKSETT – A downed power line in southeast Hooksett has left hundreds of local residents without electricity Monday.

Roughly 297 Hooksett Public Service of New Hampshire (PSNH) customers and another 984 Candia households are without power as of 1:30 p.m., according to a PSNH online outage map.

Hooksett police report utility crews are on scene and working diligently to restore power.
