MARK NIEDER

Driver identified in fatal Northumberland crash

NORTHUMBERLAND – Police Tuesday identified the driver who died after a single-vehicle crash Friday in Northumberland as Mark Nieder, 49, of Hopkinton. Police have not yet established the cause of the morning crash on Route 3 in which the 2004 Nissan Pathfinder Nieder was driving struck a tree and caught fire, Sgt. Jonathan Woodworth said.

Passersby stopped on the highway and pulled Nieder from the wreck, but he was pronounced dead at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, Northumberland Police Chief Marcel Platt said Monday.

Christie is the real deal

We have found Gov. Chris Christie to be the most consistent, the most confident in his abilities, the most tested under fire, and the most likely to regain the White House from a disastrous Democratic regime.
