Nashua man arrested on domestic violence charges

NASHUA – A 25-year-old Nashua man faces several domestic violence-related charges after police said he assaulted a woman by grabbing, punching and choking her.
David Perez was arrested after police met with the woman at a local hospital Sunday at 10:05 p.m. Police said the victim, who is known to Perez, received non-life-threatening injuries.
Perez was charged with domestic violence: second-degree assault, a class B felony, as well as five counts of domestic violence: simple assault, which are class A misdemeanors.
He was held overnight on $10,000 cash bail pending his arraignment Monday.
