Annual banquet on April 23 honors police, fire and EMS
MANCHESTER — The New Hampshire Police, Fire and EMS Foundation is holding its sixth annual recognition banquet Wednesday, April 23, at the Radisson Hotel, 700 Elm St.
U.S. Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-NH, will speak at the banquet, at which annual lifetime achievement awards will be presented to members of the police, fire and EMS community in New Hampshire.The foundation mission is “to be a resource for the needs of Police, Fire and EMS personnel and their families in dealing with crisis or catastrophes not covered by insurance or employing agencies, and/or workers compensation funds.”
This year’s honorees include Lifetime Achievement Police Officer, Merrimack Officer Michael Murray; Lifetime Achievement Firefighter, Former Londonderry Captain Ronald D. Anstey Jr., now with the state Fire Marshal’s Office; and Lifetime Achievement EMS, Former Washington Fire Chief Robert Wright, now Rescue Squad Captain.Tickets are $35 per person and can be obtained by mailing a check payable to NHPFEF to Chief Jim Valiquet, PO Box 762, Bradford 03221.
Registration begins at 6 p.m. and the banquet will start with remarks from Ayotte at approximately 6:45 p.m.
