Student brings knife into Nashua school

NASHUA - A student at Elm Street Middle School brought a knife into the school Thursday, according to a school administrator.

“We had a student that was in possession of a knife and took it out during class,” Principal Michael Fredericksen said in a written alert to parents. “There were no injuries, and the incident is being dealt with according to school rules.”

Frederickson was not immediately available Thursday to provide additional details about the incident.

A woman who answered the phone at the school described the situation as a “minor incident.”
