UPDATE: Manchester police identify suspect in Saturday's bank robbery
MANCHESTER — City police are asking for the public's help identifying a man caught on camera allegedly robbing a Citizens Bank branch Saturday afternoon.
Manchester police say they responded to the Citizens Bank branch at 688 South Willow St. at 12:11 p.m. Saturday to investigate a report of an armed robbery.
Police in a release Monday morning identified the suspect as Ryan Murphy, 28, of Manchester. Spokesman Lt. Maureen Tessier said his street address is unknown. Murphy is described as a white male with a tanned complexion, about 5-foot-10, 140 pounds with brown hair and green eyes and a scruffy beard. He was last seen wearing a red, hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
