LANCASTER — A Coos County Superior Court grand jury has indicted an 18-year-old St. Johnsbury, Vt., man on seven counts of theft by unauthorized taking and two counts of burglary at a Milan residence a year ago.
Dylan Lohr of 26 Jones St. in St. Johnsbury is accused of entering the home of Dick and Susan Walker at 785 Milan Hill Road at night on April 10 and 13, 2013, with the intent to commit theft and steal numerous firearms.
The guns belonging to the Walkers that Lohr is accused of stealing include a 22-caliber Ruger, a .22-caliber Beretta, a 5-inch, .2-caliber Smith & Wesson, a 3-inch, .22-caliber Smith & Wesson, two .22-caliber Colts and a .45-caliber Colt.
The charges are all Class A felonies.
Also indicted was Nathaniel Aldrich, 23, of 1522 Route 5 South in Sutton, Vt., who is charged with two counts of burglary, aided by or acting in concert with Lohr at the Susan Walker residence in Milan.
Other indictments the grand jury handed up during its April session include the following:
-- Jamie F. Letarte, 42, of 87 Jimtown Road in Gorham, who is charged with two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, indecent exposure and lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child between October 2009 and March 2012 in Gorham.
Among the charges, Letarte is accused of sexually assaulting a girl between the ages of 13 and 16 years old.
The assault charges are special felonies; the remaining charges are Class B felonies.
-- Codi Verratti, 22, of 7 Pinette Street in Groveton is charged with felonious sexual assault and aggravated felonious sexual assault on Nov. 3, 2013, in Groveton.
Verratti is accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl, including while she was asleep, according to the indictments. Aggravated felonious sexual assault is a special felony; felonious sexual assault is a Class B felony.
