Manchester police investigating Kimball St. stabbing


 MANCHESTER -- A 49-year-old man was stabbed in the chest  in an incident on Kimball Street, according to police.

The man, whose name police did not release, was taken to Catholic Medical Center for treatment of the wound which police described as not life-threatening.

Investigators believe the man was stabbed by his girlfriend's son Matthew Parsons, 19, about 10:30 p.m. Thursday at 541 Kimball St. Police are obtaining a warrant for Parson's arrest.

The stabbing remains under investigation.
