NHIAA Roundup: Central's Lavallee shines again

It seems every time Sarah Lavallee pitches, opposing batters wear out a path between home plate and their dugout.

That was the case Thursday when Lavallee struck out 10 batters to lead Manchester Central to a 6-1 Division I girls’ softball win over host Merrimack.

Lavallee allowed two hits and walked three for Central (6-2).

Lavallee helped her cause with two RBIs. Kim Leiter, Colleen O’Hara, Allie Jacques and Victoria Krideras each drove in a run.
