Man accused of robbing Goffstown gas station last year

GOFFSTOWN — A man serving a sentence at the New Hampshire State Prison was arraigned Wednesday in Goffstown District Court on charges he was part of an armed robbery of a gas station last year.

Police said in a release that “information from separate sources that had firsthand knowledge” led them to charge Michael Francis, who turns 27 today, with robbing the Mobil station at 566 Mast Road on June 26.

He was allegedly one of two men who went into the store displaying firearms, wearing masks and demanding money. The men left the store on foot after taking cash, police said. He was taken back to the prison following his arraignment, police said.
