There are no more undefeated baseball teams in Division I. C.J. Beaulieu and Salem took care of that Thursday.
Beaulieu pitched an eight-hitter to lead the Blue Devils past previously undefeated Dover 9-5 in the Garrison City. Salem (5-4) took advantage of 13 walks provided by Dover (8-1), which rallied from an early 5-0 deficit to tie the game. But Salem responded with one run in the fourth, two in the sixth and one in the seventh.
Nick Shumski and Jake White collected two hits each for the winners. White knocked in four runs.
Jared Gagne and Anthony Lupi had two hits each for Dover.
Derryfield 14, Hinsdale 1: Derryfield (3-5) erupted for 10 runs in the third inning. Max Hatheway cleared the bases with a triple in that inning. Parker Blaisdell (two hits) also tripled in two runs. Hatheway and Blaisdell each scored after their hits and each finished with three RBIs. Rob Rizos and Tim Philbin each had two hits..
Keene 11, Nashua South 6: On Wednesday, Kate Martin and Kaeleigh Lord each scored three goals for 3-4 Keene. Winning goalie Courtney Laperriere stopped five shots.
John Stark 14, Kearsarge 4 : In North Sutton, Matt Richard scored five goals and added three assists, and Brody Fredericks registered three goals and four assists as the Generals cruised to the win. Colbey Decotis and Drew McQuarrie added a pair of goals apiece. For McQuarrie, the scores were the first of his varsity career. Jake Blanchette scored a goal and two helpers, and James Smugereski scored once. The John Stark defense was led by Gage Huard, John Brown and Cooper Bourque in front of goalie August Colburn (12 saves).
Nashua South 11, Concord 7 : In Concord, Josh Perry collected three goals and Russell Applegate added two goals and two assists in the win. Stephen Saucier added two goals and one assist for the 2-7 Panthers. For Concord (1-8), Tyler Martell and Ian Slura each had two goals.
Derryfield 17, Trinity 5 : Derryfield (10-0) handed Trinity (5-2) its second loss of the season thanks to Grant Alenson (4 goals, five assists), Mike Chiasson (four goals, four assists), Jim O’Brien (three goals, one assist), Griffin Phaneuf (three goals, one assist), Connor Jackson (goal, assist), Tyler Zone (goal) and Lee Sipes (goal).
Trinity was led by three goals from Will Towner and teammates Will Sheppard and Tyler Tambouris each with one score. Tristian Thereux collected an assist. Trinity goalie Austin Kolden had 13 saves and Derryfield netminder Allen Mello turned back 19 shots.
Goffstown 16, Oyster River 5 : In Durham, two goals were registered in the win by Jack Carney (three assists), Brad Chapdelaine (two assists), Sam Shearin, Damian Jackson and Jake Ollila. Steven Dubois collected three goals and four assists. Goffstown is 7-1.
Londonderry 18, Central 3: In Londonderry, Nick Yennaco collected four goals and two assists in the win and teammate Devin Brunet added two goals. Dillan McKay, Eric Coburn, Andrew Mitchell, Dave Wiedenfeld (five assists), Brendan Wall, Sean Snyder and Casey Park (two goals and two assists) contributed in the win. Sam Hastings, John Derhak and Mike Donlan each had one goal. Central got one goal from Julio Rincon and two from Mark Beirne.
ConVal 15, Lebanon 1: On Wednesday, Riordan McCole notched three goals and three assists, and Isaiah Taylor registered eight goals and two assists to lead ConVal of Peterborough, which hosts Monadnock of Swanzey tonight at 7 p.m.
Merrimack 8, Bishop Guertin 4: BG pitcher Kristina Terrazzano suffered the mound loss. Tori Dubois, Leah Perez and Gina Pustizzi each had a hit for the Cardinals.
Pelham 14, Mascenic 2: Erin Long had a two-run inside-the-park homer and Hannah Paitchel collected three hits and two RBIs. Elissa Mogauro (2 RBIs) and Shannon Morin, who pitched a two-hitter, also had two hits apiece for 6-4 Pelham.
