Power outage hits four towns in Newfound Lake area

A power outage is affecting 6,000 Public Service of New Hampshire customers in four communities in the Newfound Lake area.

A PSNH spokesperson said the power went out Friday for unknown reasons around 6:30 p.m. in Alexandria, Bristol, Bridgewater and Hebron, initially affecting 7,000 customers.

At about 9:30, the outage was down to 6,000. The power was expected to be restored by 11 p.m. Friday, the spokesperson said.
