Manchester police search for TD Bank robber


MANCHESTER — Police are looking for a stocky man who robbed TD Bank just after it opened Monday morning.

The robber, described as a white man, about 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8, wearing a dark blue pullover hooded sweatshirt with a "C" on the left breast area, entered the 293 S. Main St. bank at 8:05 a.m. and demanded money from a teller.

No weapon was shown.

The robber also had a black cloth over his face, wore blue surgical gloves and carried a dark, drawstring bag. He wore dark pants and white sneakers. 

He may have had brown eyes and a scruffy beard.

He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
