Undercover cocaine investigation in Keene nabs Conn. man

KEENE — A Hartford, Conn., man is under arrest on drug charges after a nine-month investigation into cocaine trafficking by the New Hampshire Attorney General's Drug Task Force.

Ronald Sears, 42, was arrested Wednesday on Ellis Court on warrants charging him with three counts of sale of a controlled drug. After he was taken into custody, task force members searched an address associated with Sears at 150 Main St. in Marlborough.

Police said Sears had controlled drugs on him and they charged him accordingly. He is expected to face three additional felony drug-related charges in connection to the investigation.

Sears was taken to the Cheshire County jail, pending arraignment today in 8th Circuit Court, Keene District Division.

The case remains under investigation. Anyone with information concerning it is asked to call Detective Robert Collinsworth or Donald Lundin at the Keene Police Department at 357-9820.
