Pelham town administrator set to be named tonight
Former Town Administrator Tom Gaydos was placed on administrative leave in early January and gave his official resignation about a month later.
“We interviewed six people and we narrowed it down to the guy we want,” said Gleason. He said the board would not officially name the finalist until its Tuesday meeting.
Once a change to the position is made, it will give acting Town Administrator and current Police Chief Joseph Roark the ability to once again focus full-time on the police department.
“He’s done a superb job,” said Gleason. “He brought a fresh perspective to the job and opened our eyes to some things.”
Gleason indicated that the salary for the new administrator would not be available to be made public until the new contract is signed.
