Manchester motorcyclist hurt in collision with car
MANCHESTER — A motorcyclist was injured Tuesday when he drove into the rear of a car, New Hampshire State Police said.
Maurice Howland, 50, of Manchester, was merging from South River Road onto Route 101 about 4:10 p.m. Tuesday when he didn’t notice that a 2008 Nissan Altima driven by Matthew Murray, 31, of Deerfield, had stopped because of congestion, Trooper Juan Infante said.
Howland drove into the rear of the car. He suffered injuries that were not life-threatening and was taken to Elliott Hospital for treatment, Infante said. He said he does not anticipate that charges will be filed in connection to the accident.
