GOFFSTOWN — Plans to build an AutoZone in Abingdon Square are back on track.
The Planning Board granted an extension to the current plans at its May 22 meeting. LEED Development received approval to build the store last June, but let the building permits expire. Engineer Jason Hill of TFMoran explained that corporate restructuring taking place over the past year affected construction schedules.
“We expect to have something in the ground this summer,” Hill said.
The extension expires June 6, 2015. The plan calls for a 7,381-square-foot building at Mast Road and Abingdon Way. It will be located across the lot from Rite Aid.
AutoZone is a retailer and distributer of automotive replacement parts and accsssories.
