CLAREMONT — A Walnut Street man was arrested on three felony warrants for drug sales Thursday afternoon.
Nicholas G. Santana, 23, of 15 Walnut St. was arrested by Claremont police around 1:15 p.m. at his home on warrants stemming from an investigation conducted by the New Hampshire attorney general’s drug task force.
During the investigation that immediately followed Santana’s arrest, over 70 MDMA tablets were seized. The drug is more widely known as ecstasy.
“As a result additional charges are likely,” Claremont police Chief Alexander Scott said in a press release.
Santana is being held at the Sullivan County House of Corrections in Unity pending his arraignment today in the 5th Circuit Court District Division in Claremont.
Scott thanked the drug task force, Team B, for their ongoing investigative efforts.
“Their ongoing efforts are an invaluable resource to the law enforcement agencies in Sullivan County,” he wrote.
