Police probe untimely death on Goffstown rail trail

GOFFSTOWN- –The portion of the rail trail at Moose Club Park Road was blocked off Thursday evening as police investigated an untimely death.

“There’s nothing of a suspicious nature at this time,” said Police Chief Robert Browne.

Officers responding to a reported unresponsive male made the discovery around 4:15 p.m.

Cruisers blocked off the area about two tenths of a mile in from Moose Club Park Road heading towards Manchester while waiting for the deputy assistant medical examiner to arrive.

Officials had not released the name Thursday evening pending family notification.
