Minimum security inmate missing from Manchester transitional housing Unit

MANCHESTER - The New Hampshire Department of Corrections reports that a resident of the Calumet Transitional Housing Unit on Lowell Street in Manchester was placed on walkaway status on Friday, May 30, 2014 at approximately 9:30 pm.  Robert Earl House, 22, of Nashua, New Hampshire was given permission to leave the facility on an outing to Nashua at 11:30 am and he failed to return at 8:00 pm as scheduled.  

Inmate House is described as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 175 pounds.  He was sentenced in Hillsborough County Superior Court to a 1 ½ to 3 year sentence with 352 days of time served credited for Sale, Possession, and Manufacturing of Heroin.  He was admitted to the New Hampshire State Prison on September 9, 2013 and was eligible for parole on March 20, 2014 with a maximum release date of September 21, 2015.

The New Hampshire Department of Corrections Investigations Unit and the New Hampshire State Police are investigating.  A charge of escape is a Class B felony punishable by 3 ½ - 7 years in prison.  Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact local law enforcement agencies or the New Hampshire State Prison at 603-271-1801.
