Chowdah Chow

The 30th Annual WOKQ Chowder Festival takes place at Prescott Park in Portsmouth this weekend. It's a beautiful time of year to stroll through the park beside the Piscataqua River, and it doesn't get any better than with a cup of chowder in your hand. This is the kickoff event for the summer season and more than 4,000 folks will be there to sample the best chowder the seacoast has to offer. So get there early; when the chowder runs out, all 500 gallons of it, the show is ovah. Come vote for your favorite! Tickets at the door are $14 for adults, $7 for youth (12 and under).
