Lebanon police arrest two on heroin-sale charges
LEBANON -- A Vermont woman and a West Lebanon man are under arrest, accused of selling heroin in the city.
Police arrested Christopher Barker, 21, and Gabrielle Webber, 19, of Hartland on Wednesday. Barker is charged with two counts of sale of a controlled drug, heroin; possession of controlled drugs, heroin, and possession of marijuana.
Webber is charged with one count of selling heroin.
Both were to be arraigned Thursday in 2nd Circuit Court, Lebanon District Division.
Selling heroin is a felony punishable by up to seven years in prison and/or a fine up to $100,000. Possessing heroin is a Class B felony, punishable by up to three years in prison and/or a fine up to $25,000, while possessing marijuana is a Class A misdemeanor offense punishable by up to 12 months in jail and/or up to a $2,000 fine.
