GRATHAM — A Massachusetts physician was clocked by New Hampshire State Police aircraft speeding at 118 mph on Interstate 89 early Sunday afternoon.

Police said Adel M. Malek, 48, of Weston was arrested for reckless driving and later released on bail, to be arraigned at a later date in 5th Circuit Court, Newport District Division.

Malek is the chief of the division of neurovascular surgery at Tufts Medical Center, and a professor at the university’s medical school.

Police said Malek’s 2011 Audi A8 was allegedly traveling at 118 mph in a posted 65 mph zone.
