NASHUA -- A city woman is accused of stabbing a man in the foream with a pair of scissors during an argument over a cell phone Monday morning.
Linda Heredia, 48, of Temple Street was arrested on a class A felony charge of first-degree assault. Police said about 4:30 a.m. Monday they were called about a domestic disturbance at a Temple Street apartment. When officers arrived, they found a 50-year-old man with a stab wound to his forearm. Police said Heredia stabbed him during an argument and subsequent struggle over a cell phone.
The man was treated at a local hospital for the injury, which police described as not life-threatening, and released. Heredia is being held on $7,500 cash/surety bail pending arraignment Tuesday in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division.
